Introducing: The Deep!
The horrors of The Deep have just finished consuming most Race for the Wool™️ maps, and Landfall is next! The Deep contains difficult to traverse terrain--seen nowhere else on the map--and is the perfect area for more defensive teams, featuring multiple resource shrines that provide significant resource payoffs in the long term, at the cost of a time and resource investment.

Shrines:
-1 diamond per 3 minutes
-1 emerald block per 5 seconds
-1 exp bottle per 10 seconds
-1 Protection I book [costs 10 levels to combine] per 4 minutes
-1 lapis per 5 minutes
-1 diamond per 2 minutes
-Shrines, marked by end portal frames, require an Eye of Ender to activate. Edit: Autoref is dogshit so this mechanic doesn't work, they will be on from the start of the match
-Once activated, the shrines will spawn their respective item (with the exception of the diamond shrines which have ore in them), and then periodically spawn items according to the previously noted frequencies.
-Players can be anywhere on the map and the shrines will continue to spawn items (unless the chunk where the item spawns is unloaded which should never happen in a match anyway).
-The items will despawn as the next one spawns, so it may be wise to use a hopper to collect items.

The Deep (Misc):
-There are no basic supplies in The Deep.
-Some gold blocks and an iron block reside in The Deep, as well as three Eyes of Ender. There is a fourth on the victory monument and a 5th in the golden pickaxe chest in the ravines before 3rd wool.
-There are three entrances to The Deep: below 1st resources, between 1st and 2nd wools, and below 3rd wool. However, it is also possible to mine obsidian to enter.
-The ending of 1st wool is no longer a void section due to The Deep.
-Yes, the sides and back look bad, we know and will not fix that.
Resource Changes:
-An iron cave has been added below 1st resources, and is an entrance to The Deep.
-Smelting supplies (furnaces) have been added to the aforementioned iron cave, the iron cave right after/below 2nd, and in the new cave under 3rd, denoted by red stained glass.
-Iron ore in the iron caves (the ones between 2nd and 3rd) has been made denser (the iron goes deeper now).

Enchanting Rework:
The intent was to make enchanting more of an investment to set up and become unstoppable, as well as to provide protective enchantments to help teams counteract the damage from enchanting.
-1 lapis was removed from the pillar chest above 2nd, and replaced with 16 exp bottles.
-The lapis in the mines before 2nd was replaced with a Protection II book that costs 10 levels to combine.
-The lapis at the victory monument was reduced from 4 to 2, and 2 Protection I books were added that cost 5 levels to combine.
-The 2 lapis in the iron cave after 2nd were replaced with 64 spruce slabs.
-The 2 Protection I and Proj. Protection I books behind 2nd now cost 5 levels to combine.
-The 3 Power I bows now cost 20 levels to repair as opposed to the 2 or so before (they can't be combined with each other, but can be combined with lapis-enchanted power bows).
-3 lapis were added in total: 1 in each of the chests at the entrances to The Deep.
This adds up to 6 total lapis on the map without using The Deep, as well as 4 Protection I books, 1 Protection II book, and 2 Proj. Protection I books.

Miscellaneous:
-Terrain above 2nd wool was reworked to be a little less annoying to play around.
-The Efficiency II books were buffed to Efficiency III.
-1 obsidian in the golden pickaxe chest in the ravine before 3rd was changed to an Eye of Ender.
-Buttons in 2nd wool now always spawn only one row of redstone blocks.
-A skeleton spawner on the hill after 2nd wool used to have a chance of spawning punch bow skeletons; this should be fixed now.
